I got a Trojan warning from TCP Optimizer

Post by Axiomatic »

Hey guys, no accusations here, just a question. Image

Is this a false positive? Trojan:Win32/Leonem.0A4 I downloaded my copy of TCP Optimizer from this site. Nowhere else.

Have a good day.

I received the same thing today via Windows Defender. I believe it to be a false positive. I run Windows Defender daily, yesterday was fine. TCP Optimizer files are unchanged, no new installs, and the rest of my system passes Defender scan without issue.

Yeah, it's a false positive, there are no recent updates to the software and there are literally millions of downloads.

Hopefully this will get resolved with next Windows Defender definition update, will monitor it. Thanks for the heads up.
