I just want to let everyone know that Poptom passed away on Saturday. I know he hasn't been posting much lately, but he had been really weak the last few months. He liked this forum a lot and he spoke highly of the members.

Wow.
I kinda wondered if something was up. We hadn't even see him browsing the site for some time.
To let you know, he was a popular member of this forum.
I had a lot of respect for him and he'll be missed for sure. My sincerest condolences go out to his family.
Thank you for droping in and letting us know.

I'm so sorry Neil. Just the other day I was thinking of him and other members that haven't posted. This is shocking news.
As John stated I too went to Tom for some behind the scene advice in the past. He sure will be missed.

Sorry for your loss Neil...he was a very well liked and respected member on our boards.
He had quite the collection of toy trucks also, didn't he? After seeing that picture of him..the tee shirt...it's making me think of a pic he posted on toy trucks lined up on a bookshelf or something.
RIP Pomtom.

I just sent him a PM last Monday, asking how he was doing...
He hasn't been around much the last year due to his condition, however, he was still in our thoughts, and always will be...
My condolences to his family and friends as I know it is a great loss to all, including us, his cyber family...

It’s so sad to loose such a nice person. I know he goes to a better place, and in doing so, will make that place better. Rest in peace Tom.
