R.I.P. Ken

Post by Philip »

Ken passed away a couple of hour ago.

His son Alex was with him. Alex has been near him for the past few months, he interrupted college to be next to his dad as Ken's health was deteriorating. Ken's son, his sister and family will miss him, but he also has us, his online family of 20+ years that will remember him! At the end lung cancer got him before he reached 60, but we will be around in our memories. I got to see him one last time two weeks ago, and his spirit was never broken, he was still the same witty bright guy you all know. Ken was smart, with a sharp sense of humor to the end, he liked to live life to the fullest. He was a great friend. He has been a part of the site almost since the beginning, and many of you knew him well.

Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed, but we will remember! You have many good friends here.

Ken was a such a good man, i had the pleasure of meeting him 4 times over the years and every time he was so nice and cheerful.

I dreaded this bad news but knew it was coming, sad day for sure :(

To his family, I wish you peace and comfort as you grieve.

He will be missed.

I just don't know what to say. Ken always had a kind word. When he would make a joke at my expense he would always message me to make sure I knew he was kidding. Please send my condolences to his family and assure them that he will never be forgotten.

Such a good guy, he was a barrel of laughs. I've had the pleasure of meeting him a few times over the years, even in recent years...my wife and I met him a couple of times as his health was starting to wane.

Ken, Thanks for all the laughs, thanks for your wisdom, thanks for the phone calls putting my mind at ease during tough times I've gone though....you've been a good friend, and you're one I'll always remember great times with! RIP my friend!

RIP Ken. I'm glad I had the pleasure of meeting you a few times. Nothing but fun times full of laughter and many great conversations both here on SG and in person. You will be missed.

So sad to see this thread.
RIP Ken :(
Big piece of SG is gone but not forgotten. Until we meet again. *raises drink*

I was going to post a link to that thread, but the SG search results for "bullsh|t" were too numerous

sometimes you have to think outside the box to get inside the box ;).
