how to create multiple proxies
how to create multiple proxies
I see there are many websites that sell proxies. how can they generate so many IP addresses. I tried searching but still don't know why
Large companies are issued large pools of IPs, just like your Internet provider. This also goes for hosting providers and data centers where servers are located. If you get dedicated/collocated servers at a network center, you can get a pool of IPs. Proxy/VPN providers usually have such servers in different countries/locations and each has its own pool of IP addresses where traffic appears to come from.

Your LAN only has "local" IP addresses that are not routable onto the internet, most commonly in the range 192.168.*.*, or 10.*.*.*. They only work behind your NAT router, any traffic going onto the internet is routed through your one single "external" IP address assigned to your modem by your ISP.
Since most residential connections are only assigned one external IP address, there is no way to route your traffic through different ones, short of using some third-party proxy or VPN service. There are some workarounds that may or may not work, depending on your ISP.
I hope this helps.
