communication socket closed unexpectedly

Post by carpetman1 »

Hi all, new to this forum, but I'm hoping to get some help. We recently purchased cloud-based software for our flooring company and put all new pc's on wireless network with Comcast modem/router. Problem we're having is at random times, and on random pc's when we're connected to the software, it kicks us off with error "communication socket closed unexpectedly". Comcast says there is nothing wrong with our router, software company says it's nothing wrong with there server so it must be a corruption in our LAN. I'm a newbie at office networking but sort of tech savvy. All pc's are running windows 8 except the one hardwired to the modem, that one is windows 7. What do I need to look for to try and fix this bug? It's cutting into our production. Thanks for any help
