Beening running IIS web service on a windows 7 build for about 10 yrs. Just a basic box sitting in the corner. Been reliable. Just ready now to transfer over the to a windows 10 machine.
I want ot use webdeploy as it will transfer everything to the new rig. Settings etc. but need IIS management services installed to run this task.
When I goto Turn Windows features on/off and select IIS management service. I click it and it seems to try install and then get a popup window
"An Error has occurred. Not all the features were sucessfully changed" IT didnt install.
I goggled. Says turn off firewall and any type of antivirus. Done.... Still nogo.
Any ideas to get IIs management services loaded?
Thanks

Re: Windows 7 IIS Management Services will not install
I'm encountering an issue with installing Windows 7 IIS Management Services on my system. Every time I attempt to install it, I keep running into errors and it fails to complete the installation process. I've tried troubleshooting it myself, but so far, no luck. I've come across a product called Direct Macro p56958-b21 during my research. Does anyone have any experience using it, particularly in relation to Windows 7 IIS Management Services
