YouTube sucks with advertisements

I guess they're cracking down on ad blockers. They just caught me and it's a pain in the ass. They also sort of force you to turn you viewing history on too (which I have off). It was bad enough clicking through the commercials on my TV, but now on my PC? NO.

Yeah, I read something about that.. I didn't have an ad blocker for YouTube anyway, I just use Ublock Origin extension in my browser.

Have you tried using Brave browser?

I use it for youtube...no ads:)

My IT guy swears by it, uses it as his main browser over Chrome.

I haven't loaded it up yet. As soon as I do I'll let you know. I did have it installed about 6 months ago but I wasn't using it to view YT and it's just been recently that they've changed their commercial/advertisement policy.

I have all the major browsers installed, Edge, Firefox, Opera, Brave, Chrome... Mainly use Chrome because I am used to it and my favorites are there, it's not the fastest.

I only use Brave and I don't get interrupted with ads. It's a fantastic product and worth it's weight in gold.

Brave seems good, Edge and Firefox are not bad either.. Hard to differentiate much between them lately I suppose.

I use Ublock Origin to skip ads in general, didn't know Brave has fewer/no YouTube ads.
