I don't ski but...
As you may know we're getting a ton of snow in our local mountains here in So Cal. Although I don't ski and have no use for snow I will occasionally check the "Snow Cams" and I do have to admit that it looks awesome. Here's the thing, over the weekend the mountains got hit with even more snow, the highway patrol closed all the roads leading up to the ski areas. So... only the people who had gone up at the end of the week to get a jump on things were able to skid and had the place to themselves. Watching the snow cams was incredible. There was just a small handful of people on the slopes enjoying all this fresh powder and not having to stand in any lines. I'm sure there will be a ton of people returning this week with their "Epic" stories about how they had the place to themselves.
