port 1214

Hi,

For some reason i have been getting an enourmous amount of tcp port probes to port 1214. I get about 500 hits every 3 minutes. If anyone knows what is causing this and if there is a way to fix it please respond. Thanks.

I think 1214 is used for a WinAmp plugin called KAZAA. It's kind of like a Napster but for WinAmp that allows community members to edit files.

Try disabling every runing program in windows currently and see if the hits continue...... this will see if it's program or something else.....
