Help, every time I turn on my computer, an error message appears saying a required dll needed for startup was not found. That dll is
MSVCP60.Dll. I don't know how I somehow got rid of this dll, but it is annoying and a game I like to play won't start. Neither does some aplications I use. I would really appreciate any help someone could give restoring this file. here is a direct DL to that DLL
Are you running Win 98? If so you might want to try SFC as well. Go to start/run then type SFC and go through the motions good luck------------------ Concieved through an act of violence

Thanks, that was a good website you linked me too. Now what am I supposed to do with this dl? When i start up next time will it automaticlly find it; or does it have a special folder it needs too be placed in? I used the system file checker, but it did nothing execept scan my computer.

In ME there are two MSVCP60.Dll files:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM and C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\SUPPORT So I guess you just throw it into System folder. |
