Does anyone play NFS Porsche online?

I just recently picked up a copy of NFS-PU, and I love it! I have always been an arcade driving game junkie, but never really got into pc car games simply because I get bored of racing against predictable drone cars. I know I will soon get tired of NFS-PU if I don't find humans to race against!
I tried registering at EAracing, but it doesn't seem to work. Is there much of a community for the NFS series or has Porsche Unleashed already died? I have found a few sites, but many of them havent been updated in months.
Can internet races only be held on EA's servers or can anyone run a server?

Any drivers out there? Speak up and fill me in on the scene!

Hey! I got the game as well, and LOVE it

I haven't tried the multiplayer aspect of it yet, but I think i'm going to try and see how it works

holy archives batman...oddly enough I think I still have this game somewhere.

You don't have to play on the NFS server they don't support the game anymore.but you can play peer to peer with another player such as myself and the other people on the forum but one of us must tell the others his IP and a certain time to meet and play a race or two.I did it before and it worked.
