I about to order this set up because its a sweet deal. But i was wondering if my speed would slow down.?

yikes. That's not a good wireless pcmcia card.

I recommend a D-Link D-Link DI-614+ for a WAPR and an Orinoco Gold or any Cisco cards for the machines. Second thoughts, if you want to take advantage of the 22mbs link or the 256 WEP, go for the D-Link cards that match up with the 614+.

The reason why TigerDirect is so cheap is because they sell your information VERY fast.

I already ordered but i did end up going with the D-Link. I read up on the us robotics. they are sh*t.

Your other 2 should be fine. If you want to go for range, invest in an external antenna.

I'm using an orinoco gold and a linky befw11s4 v2. A less of a WAPR but I still download at the same speed as my desktop. I did a large file transfer today, was about 1.3mb/s.

The pci is D-Link also. Asfor range i really just want in house and deck 60 ft at the most.

I run mine at 1mb at in about a 1350ft radius.
