I like to build them, help people with them. I have a good knowledge of computers at my age. I think so. I just need some place to get some info on COMPUTER ENGINEERING. I search for career info, Computer engineer info, and many other things and I can’t find info of what a computer engineer does or how much pay they get, Ect..... I know I ask allot could you help me find some stuff about computer engineering. I just thought this would be good because I know that people here have good knowledge of computers, and maybe have a job for computer engineering

To see what kind of pay you will recieve, check out job openenings at places like http://www.jobs.com/

You also want to look up information to see if the demand for computer engineers will be high when you graduate from college.
thank you for that site i really cant find anything on the topic. In school we used this program that was used to help us find our career a forgot the name of it. I gues i just got to keep looking. Any one wanna do a google for me? and also every time i look for the topic i just get places for computer engineering and no information for computer engineering.

there ya go. kinda. A computer engineer is a tough title. mostly is used in reference to computer software engineers. Theres also an article on the page I linked about computer hardware engineers which I think is what you're trying to get at.

    good luck

I'm not worried, with the math trouble he has, and the 5 semesters of calculus you need to become a COE or EE....

    yeah, I'm not worried

What he means is, if you're struggling with math at a high school (?) level, maybe pursuing a direction such as this isn't the best idea. Can it be done? Sure, but it won't be easy. It will take a lot more work from you to get "there" than it will take a student who posesses greater math skills.

It may be a field that you're interested in, but from a practical point of view, it may not be for you. I have an interest in law, but it will probably never go beyond just that, an interest. Could I go to law school? Sure (and as stupid as it sounds, its my "backup"), but my talents and strengths aren't as strong in that area as they are in others, no matter my desire may be.

He's just urging you to think about it, that's all.

engineering is not as much math as computer science. If you decide to take engineering you will be taking a lot of physics like classes. There will be math involved but more physics

the pay will be quite nice.... comin out starting at 40,000

People will forget what you said... and people will forget what you did... but people will never forget how you made them feel.

Working for the CIA would be great. The process seems like it takes awhile though, and I would hate to go through months of testing, and flying all over the place just to find out that I'm inelligable because of something small.
