Thanks for the late night response but I uninstalled GameSPY and I am only using the INTERNET browser service. Getting some good ping choices from 52 to 100 but there is definitely something wrong with this game that has to be fixed.
Never happens with Half Life...I just check again.
go here www.planet medal of honor.com you did not say if this is single or on line play that kick you to desktop one time i did not have cd key in and it kick me and i did not have cd in and got kick
when you say booted do you mean from the game totally or back to the briefing room? have been booted back to the briefing room a couple of times for no apparent reason, I always just assumed it was a server problem. But it's not something that has happened consistently. I play on diferent servers all the time.
I use Gamespy with no problems at all. I've noticed that a lot of people are also having the "timed out" problem too. Another message some people are getting is that your not using the correct patch..yadda yadda yadda. I have a friend that has basically the same system as I do and he's having about the same prob and Im not. I can't figure it out too
I'm hoping that EA comes out with another patch that can correct most of these problems.
Thanks for the attempt but it seems that the problem has translated into the actual game as well . I reinstalled the 1.11 patch and decided to play it again in the most difficult level, to keep my interest, but now it's starting to crash as well from freezing to just out quiting to my desktop.
Nvidia 28.32
No overclocking whatsoever.
temps are fine but my Leadtek does not have a temp sensor onboard so I cannot verify that part of it.
I even ran a memory test and it past.
MadOnion2001...passed
HalfLife...no problem
Rogue Spear...no problem
Diablo2 with patch...no problem
At the moment I am exchanging emails with EA support but it doesn't look like that they can isolate it with such limited response. To bad there online chat help doesn't work nor do they have a number I can reach.
I have solved the problem and I think it's only fair that I should make a note of it here.
It's seems that there is a memory limitation in my system when extreme rendering is occurring, I havn't isolated the exact cause but if I have 1 stick of 512DDR in place, there are no problems but when I put in the other stick of 512DDR, the problems start to happen.
If I switch them around, or put in the other, there is no difference. I also ran a memory test and the memory passed.
It could either be an addressing problem between my Northbridge chip, the motherboard itself or most likely Windows XP but I'm not sure.
In conclusion, MOHAA runs fine with the new 1.11 patch and havn't had a single glitch with Video Options set to full abilities at every option, including Advanced.
Running the game at 1028x768x32 trilinear with every other option...no problem
If I ever find out what it is, i'll post it in the hardware section.
