speedup my com21 chello/upc (dutch) modem

I need faster internet.

I have the Dutch provider upc/chello.

I have a COM21 modem.

I have windows ME.

I have a nice internet connection, but I still need better, I want to uncap my modem or just some tweaks or something to speed it up.

And an other question? ;
-Wat should chello/upc do if they see that i uncapped my modem or speeded it up?


Please help, I'm not an expert with network.

Uncapping is detectable and the "I want to uncap my modem" and "I need help uncapping my modem" threads aren't permitted here (see the forum rules).

As for legally helping your connection, there are some regsitry tweaks that can be implemented (see here). Note that you will not be able to achieve speeds above your cap.
