I find that my Win2k does not have TcpMaxDupAcks in the HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\. What will be the affect of missing this entry?
I newly use cable modem to access Internet but as I switch around websites or click a hyperlink, sometimes my IE6 hangs completely, or freezes a few minutes afterward working normally. I even cannot enter some websites accompanied with a pop-up window. Is such symptom caused by the missing entry or another issue?
Could anyone be kind enough to solve my headache? Thanks!

Some entries are not entered by default:
Download SG Optimizer to your desktop, select connection type at top, select optimal settings at bottom, click on apply changes at very bottom and REBOOT
If you wish to enter custom TCP recieve window select custom settings at bottom, enter what you wish, click on apply changes at bottom and REBOOT.
If you wish to select LAN speedup, it works in only WIN 2000 & XP right now but soon, all OS's. click on custom settings, other settings tab at top, LAN speedup=yes.
If using Cablenuts adjuster too, you must first bring up adjuster, click on clear all boxes at bottom and reboot, then download and install optimizer.
