    Cleaning up Hardware

I'm tired of paying someone to not clean my computer and decided if I want it done to do it myself.
The problem is I don't know what to use, I guessing alcohol and
q-tips and I know to use duct tape when I do damage but am I missing anything? Is alcohol right?

Canned air sounds silly but I will do as you say and not use alcohol.
    Thanks, YardofStuff

Is it just dust you wanna clean? How dirty can it be? I'd go with compressed air.

Yes, I'm talking inside the case. I want to clean the dust off the boards and the fan. Oh yea, it can be so dirty. When I got the case open I couldn't see the green of the boards. Going today for some canned air.

Canned air, and possibly some filters on your fan are the only practical solutions for cleaning off dust. I'm putting in an order for some fan filters shortly, since I just check the one I do have, and it was already covered in dust from only 3 months or so.
