Well After going thro hrs of struggling I finnally got it set.. My test now shows up like this
TCP options string = 020405ac01010402
MTU = 1492
MTU seems to be optimized for PPPoE... If you are not on a PPPoE connection, consider increasing your MTU to 1500 for optimal throughput.
MSS = 1452
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1452, which is equal to MSS.
MSS is optimized for PPPoE. If you are not on a PPPoE connection, consider increasing your MTU value.
Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 18000
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 18000
For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
511104 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
255552 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
127776 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
63888 (MSS x 44)
bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 720 kbps (90 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 288 kbps (36 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
Consider increasing your RWIN value to optimize TCP/IP for broadband.
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 118 hops
TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000
it used to be like a MTU of 1367 and all that BUT someone take a look at the RWIN I think its low.. because when I had it before it was like 22xxx I forgot but now its 18000, it says that I should increase to a multiple of the MSS.. soo what do you guys recommend I wanna get EVERY drop of performance outta this DSL after what I've suffered! :-P
anyways anyone who has a multiple Ill try it.. thx again!
