Harry Potter game sound crackly(?)

Installed new Harry Potter game...on Athlon 1.4, ATI Radeon, Creative Live.value...Win XP Pro...at first the sound was fine...one of the kids accidentally hit the "windows" pop up key...& the sound was instantly crackly(is this a word...rebuted, uninstalled, reinstalled...had clear sound back for a few minutes & now it's back to crap...like a bad foreign movie just read'n sub titles only works for so long

sound for other games,(Wolfenstein etc.) seems to be fine...

Eh, beats me...but I know they rushed out all versions of the game prematurely to coincide with the movie release. It wouldn't surprise me if the game has its share of glitches.

Guess you could try updating your soundcard drivers and grab any available patches for the game.

Its your creative sound card, I had the same problems, dl latest drivers at http://www.creative.com/welcome.asp
