    Question Optimal setting on LAN/EthernetCard?

    Hi!
    I'm on a university LAN, connected through ethernet. I'm running WinXP on a laptop... Which patch should I download?? Is there anything else I can do to optimize my speed??

    You may not need to d/l ANY patch. Make sure your MTU matches up, that's the first thing. Go here:

    If it has tits or tires, it's going to give you problems.
