Question Am I SOL, or is there another way?

Man this sux! For some reason I just had to merge my partitions G: & F:, G: was 7mb primary (don't ask..lol) and F: was 13G logical . I used PM7 and half way through kid closed out program!!! ack!

I restarted PM7 and I was prompt with a recovery tab but I cannot recover it.. the program does not respond when I try and recover it. I have not rebooted yet and my question is... is there a way to recover all my back-up programs/mp3's and such?

My heart fluttered, a heavey breath excaped my lungs and my lunch slammed into my colon!! eeeek!

Any tips would be greatly appreciated... TIA

Still dual booting 98 and 2K Evil ?

Try booting to 98 and see what PM has done, maybe nothing since it didn't finish. Check to see what partitions are there in 98.

    Were those partitions NTFS Evil?
If so try Win2K now and see if they're there.
Try Win2K anyway, before you go and format.
Don't give up so soon. Post back

I'm at a loss buddy, never did anything like that before myself.

PM may be your answer, try other things in PM and see if it can help some way. I've never liked PM since it wrecked one my boot sectors long ago. Try a few tricks befoe you give up though, you never know you might find a new trick that works.

Did those partitions possibly meld with another one?
Look into all the drives now showing and see if your files from the other partitions were put there.

I just don't know, grabbing at straws now.

Wow, I feel so smart right now! I will certainly walk around the rest of the day with my shoulders a little further back... sxy and proud!!

Okay, this is easy. I assure you that you will have lost some of your data, but this should work to save at least some of it. If you can see it in dos, then do a format on it... adding system files. Then, run recovery pro. I accidently fdisk'ed and formatted a drive. After that, I recovered over 75% of my data error free.

    any questions... ask me

Well ****.... sorry OTD, I reformatted before I got to read your thread... I realized that I had the photo editing programs on a CD so I just formatted.. mp3's are gone tho.. I should have shown a bit more patience!
