    Strange problem solved with mtu to 1300

    In another forum, i see a guy that have to set his mtu to 1300 to emailed message higher than 1 Ko WITH THE CLIENT PC. If MTU is higher than 1300, the message error is : timeout....

    His pc spec
    2 pc in home network
    W 2000 pro
    adsl connection
    email program is MS Outlook express but same problem with Hotmail site and mailing on the client pc
    co-axial cable

    Do you think the coaxial cable is the problem ???

    test it! my mtu is 1500 & now all is OK
