    Angry I nedd help with a7a266 motherboard!!!!!!

    guys i built a comp using the a7a266 mobo with a 1.4ghzcpuamd thunderbird and the thing was overheting at 65 to 70C then it crashed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!whats causing the overheating?or should i use the 1.3ghz intead of 1.4ghz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!any people with this combo runnig their computer steady please let me know its got a 400watts power supply

    first off did u also buy a heatsink and fan that will cool a 1.4 or more?.

    but the fan died i need to know where i can find the best fan for a1.4ghz

    TRY coolerguys.com or do a heatsink search. Anyway.... I'm using a thermalright sk6 and it seems to work just dandy.

    oh my gosh it's DEATH to your cpu if you do not have an active heatsink and Fan goin on...

    get yo self a GOOD HSF before you fry your cpu!

    guys thanks 4 the replys yeah the chip was dead but i returned it and the mobo toooo......i got new chip and mobo same models im ordering a better fan and using the thermalpaste thing..............i hope i dont messup this time.......
