    Red face It's Good Or Not HelP mE ??

    TCP properties for IP = ???.??.???.??? ()
    Note: Read the FAQ if the above is not your IP address.
    Browser/OS = Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0b; Windows NT 5.1)
    I using WinXP 2505 And i got at 7 Kb
    TCP options string = 02040550010303030101080a000000000000000001010402

    MTU = 1400
    MTU is not fully optimized for broadband. Consider increasing your MTU to 1500 for better throughput.

    MSS = 1360
    Maximum useful data in each packet = 1348, which is less than MSS because of Timestamps, or other TCP/IP options used.
    MSS is not fully optimized for broadband (although it might work well for slower connections). Consider increasing your MTU value.

    Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 522240
    RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 3 bits
    Unscaled Receive Window = 65280
    RWIN is a multiple of MSS
    Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
    261120 (MSS x 48 * scale factor of 4)
    130560 (MSS x 48 * scale factor of 2)
    65280 (MSS x 48)

    bandwidth * delay product:
    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 20889.6 kbps (2611.2 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 8355.84 kbps (1044.48 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

    MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

    Time to live left = 48 hops
    TTL value is ok.

    Timestamps (RFC1323) = ON
    Note: Timestamps add 12 bytes to the TCP header of each packet, reducing the space available for useful data.

    Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

    IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

    So it's slow?

    The Analyzer tells you that 1400 is too low, this is not true.
    I have had 2.5mbps at 512. The send/recieve window is more important.

    Try dl files from some sites.
    Goto some gaming sites and DL demo's.
    Maybe try dl a linux cd from redhat's ftp, I got 600kb there once.

    Some will be slow because *they* have slow connetions or too many connections for their BW.

    I've had extremely slow connections on DCC downloads before, yet had 1.5mbps from oilchange.

    If you get 300kB+ from a live DL (not a speed test), you're probably set.

    It's just about the same as Win 2000 so the only thing I can think of is to make sure PMTUDiscovery is set to 1, it will tell you how and where on this page here

    Make sure it is a dword, if that does not work follow directions on help page below in signature, you want Win 2000 speed patch and web patch
