Oh I hope you do all this as it is alot of typing when you get home, download 4.0, NOT 4.02. the first thing after downloading and unzipping is open up Cablenut 4.0 on desktop, RIGHT click on adjuster and click on shortcut to desktop. Then click on Retrieve current registry values at bottom, now at top it says File, click on that, click on save custom settings file, don't worry about blank boxes as this just means that the default settings are being used, OK a box will come up asking you to name this file, name it Broad Band Wizard settings, as that is what it is, then click on save, now whenever you want those setting's back there in there, click on that and on adjuster click on save to registry and then reboot. So now you have saved the overnight wizard. Now you want to follow above directions to install Win2k fast, remember to click on save to registry and reboot before taking test, Backup registry and download faster loading of web pages

Did all of that, ran the test, here are the results:

(I'm still at work and that's not my IP address, btw)

    SpeedGuide.net TCP/IP Analyzer
TCP properties for IP = 208.12.125.239
Note: Read the FAQ if the above is not your IP address.

    TCP options string = 020405640101010101010402

    MTU = 1420
MTU is not fully optimized for broadband. Consider increasing your MTU to 1500 for better throughput.

    MSS = 1380
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1380, which is equal to MSS.
MSS is not fully optimized for broadband (although it might work well for slower connections). Consider increasing your MTU value.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 65535
    RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
    Unscaled Receive Window = 65535
Note: Under Windows 9x, if you have RWIN set to any other value, and the Analyzer reports 65535 you might need to install the MS Vtcp386 fix.
For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
    507840 (MSS x 46 * scale factor of 8)
    253920 (MSS x 46 * scale factor of 4)
    126960 (MSS x 46 * scale factor of 2)
    63480 (MSS x 46)

    bandwidth * delay product:
    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 2621.4 kbps (327.675 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 1048.56 kbps (131.07 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

    MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

Time to live left = 57 hops
    TTL value is ok.

    Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

    Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

    18540 connections tested since 03-10-2001, 14:30 ET
    Analyzer version: Beta 0.94

Might be something else, do this timestamps must be on:
    Please go to this http://www.dslreports.com/front/drtcp.htmlRL
Download DR. TCP to your desktop
Where it saids adapter settings, select your adapter
Where it says Windows sclaing- yes
    Where it says Selective Acks-yes
    Path MTU Discovery - yes
    Black Hole Detection - No
TTL-64 or 32 (up to you) No affect on speed.

Where it says Time Stamping, yes
    click apply
Reboot for changes to take affect

Do not change any numbers in this box unless you know what you are doing.
A blank box only means that the default setting is being used
    Download to desktop
