Speed patch is not installed, once you unzip it go to where you unzipped it to, RIGHT click on it and up to install or merge, click, reboot, retest, post back here

I don't understand any of this, everything slows a dialup setting, go to main page this site, under registry settings, it tells you how and where, and tell me what your Default Recieve Window setting is in your registry Sorry, this has never happened before

Carl, this is not what I wanted, by mistake you have run back to default patch, thats why you are showing dialup numbers. be carefull, are you using winzip, and did you put speed patch in a windows folder

The speed patch is not in download sguide_tweak_98_ME and use winzip wizard to put it in Program Files. Then go to program files to where it is, RIGHT click on it and up to install or merge and click (Left), reboot, take speedguide tweak test on page 1, and post results here, take your time, only one way it will work

At last, we did it, now the same way download SpeedGuide Web Patch Winzip wizard,
put in program files, this time find file LEFT click on it, and reboot, your good to go.(Web patch is faster loading of web pages)
No you don't have to post here anymore but make a copt (Print) the instructions on page 1 for future reference, good job, you will notice difference

    Question slow cable connections

hi, my name is carl and i have been having real slow connections lately. i have roadrunner services. ever since at&t took over i have gone from a download rate of about 147 kb sec-to 82 or sometimes lower speeds. i've called them and they told me as long as i am above 30kb it's good i don't like it.because i like gameing over the internet.i have been thinking of trying some of the patches. but would like to know if they work. i am not a computer guru but have some knowledge, but don't want to screw up the registry. any help would be greatly apreciated. thanks carl
