    TCP Optimizer Connection Speed

Sorry, I'm a newbie at these kind of things.
For the connection speed in TCP Optimizer, do I set it to my download or upload speed on http://www.speedtest.net?

If you're running Windows 7 or 8 just leave it alone and don't bother using the optimizer as it is not needed.

    I use Windows Vista.
So do I set the connection speed to the upload or download speed?

For clarification, while the optimization is less obvious with Windows 7/8, RaisinCain's opinion is just his own, not necessarily what we recommend.

You should choose your maximum download speed per your ISP, which may be even higher than what you get with speed tests.

    I hope this helps.
