    Someone please help.

    I have just booted into safe mode on my new laptop as my internet was going slow.

    I've noticed that my speedtest.io results go from 1292kb up to 30mb.

    Why is my internet going so much faster in safe mode?

    It's probably some weird program, might be your anti-virus, open RUN and type in Msconfig. Then go to the startup tab and check if there is anything dodgy there.

    Download Teamviewer and I can remote in and see what is going on (make sure you hit F8 and select Safe Mode with networking).

    Might have to log in to your account the regular way to get Teamviewer to install. Just try my previous suggestion first.
