    Image issue

Hi< I am using acronis true image home 2012 to make an image of my PC. I use an external HD to image it. When I use acronis to back it up it asks my what i want to backup it says C:signatuturemini (C). Why would it say that when C: is where my OS and docs are on C: and D: is system default restore of HP (I believe)? When I boot up to my desktop and selectmy computer it says F: signaturemini (F).

Any ideas why this is happening?

    thx

Are you dual booting multiple OS's on your primary HD?

I use the software myself but have never run into the situation that you're experiencing.

I know there is a level of trust but I could do a Team Viewer session and look at the partitions.

If you're booting from a CD it will just assume the first partition is C....even if it's really not when booting to the OS.

You can have a search of your disk to make sure whether where your OS and docs are on Cr not
