    CPU Fan error on bootup

    Hi There,
I have a desk top PC running a ASUSP5KPL-CM MB and just recently on restarting my pc I get a "CPU FAN error" pres F1 to continue. I have checked the fan, all is good, cleaned out the heatsink and still get the error.
Using speedfan 4.45 my cpu is running around 45C to 50C and pc runs fine.
    Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

    Chris

Slow to spin up? Speed sensor not working?
