What is the average age? I came aboard when I was still on active duty and have now been retired for 11 years. I made an assumption one night while on duty and David put me in my place. I bet he can't remember why..

I'll be 40 in August. Noticed a while ago that you play guitar (drummer since I was 8). Any tips on learning how to play?

It's not a hard transition actually. I have seen more guitarists become drummers but if you have a knack for good tempo, you can play. Have you played guitar much?

since I've been here,been through one divorce,one marriage,one move from so cal to nor cal,and a lot of things in between.

Hi Leatherneck

Am now 71.

When i found this place i had just gotten a computer & knew nothing about them / little has changed in that regard i fear but still plugging along. It was a terrific site then with members from abroad including Germany, Australia & many others from differing time zones so the place was always busy day or night and it seemed pretty much all posters were great people.

Made some good friends here & am grateful for all the help and comradery i have received here.

Don't post as often now but check in to see whats happening pretty much daily.

25 here. Since I joined, I've graduated high school, held down multiple jobs in three different states, gotten married, and joined the Navy. It's been one hell of a trip.

LoL- that was a good one! I can play a little. I don't read music and I was looking for some freeby (websites, etc.) stuff to get more into playing. I just had to sell my kit before moving (no room in the house for it).

50 here. I remember the day you were about to retire well. I couldn't believe they let you go during that time.

Me, I've fought the Angel of Death for all these years. SOB nearly got me last year. Don't expect I'll be around a whole lot longer, but as long as I am, PARTY ON!
