I'm not sure how many of you live in the Los Angeles area but the guy was a traveling crime spree in the years following the riots. He was pulled over for drunk driving, battery, all sorts of stuff (and not just once). As much as I mourn the death of anyone I also care as much for the living and potential victims he may have eventually taken with him. I now know those potential victims are safe.

Exactly. That's what I don't get. I'm not sure about the rest of the country but here in Los Angeles they're running things on the news all day long. They're trying to make him out as some sort of hero for the civil rights movement. I mean... everytime you would see him on the news it was for one crime or another and then inbetween he would be sitting there saying how he's finally trying to break his addictions by going to some class or another. Then, 1 year later he's in jail again.
