I've had Uverse for nearly a year now & to make a long story short, I'm about 300 feet too far from the VRAD for trouble-free pair-bonded service (two houses up from me has perfect service - mine bounces throughout the day).
I've been told I'm technically too far, but fall into that "I've seen it work at this distance before" range. My problem seems to be related to the heating & expansion of the lines between me & the VRAD. During the Fall & Winter, I had great service - I had to maybe reset it once or twice a week. Now that things are warming up, though service bounces throughout the day & maybe once or twice at night. I've been through countless Prem-techs & line guys and Tier 2 email chains - it's not something that's going to get fixed with any more visits.
I can't go back to cable and have been willing to live with this but would really like to know if anyone is aware of any improvements on the horizon for the service or am I just a victim of physics & will never have perfect service.
