Trying to see my Win7 Home PC on a wireless Netgear router with my Samsung Galaxy tablet.

Have ES File Explorer installed and set sharing permissions to a single folder on my PC, but am told "no server found"

Have been told I need to root the tablet...any other suggestions? Networking has always confounded the hell out of me.
