A friend of mine came to me with this problem. I searched for an anwer but could not find anything solid. It seems that all her other devices work fine, Just a problem with the laptop.


I am wondering if you're able to help me iwth a computer problem that my laptop has developed recently? It keeps losing the wireless connection. When I boot up there is a connection, it lasts for about 5 minutes and then seems to disconnect, if I reconnect it seems fine for another 5 minutes or so then I get booted off again. If I go via the Control Panel Network link and click on Diagnose I get one of two responses:


• Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding; or
• "Wireless Network Connection" doesn't have a valid IP configuration
