Lightbulb 100 Mbps / Rwin problem - please help!

    Hi Guys,

I use an 100 Mbps broadband connection since a couple of days.

The RWIN settings calculated by 2162500 but after the manual RWIN entry and reboot I got all settings without save.

    My current settings are:

    Bandwith 100 Mbps
    x Delay 173 ms
    = Rwin/BDP 2162500 bytes

After the PC reboot and settings save I got the following result from the TCP/IP Analyzer:

    « SpeedGuide.net TCP Analyzer Results »
    Tested on: 2012.01.03 12:43
    IP address: 178.27.xx.xxx
    Client OS/browser: Windows 7 (Firefox 9.0.1)

    TCP options string: 020405b4010303020402080a000441fc00000000
    MSS: 1460
    MTU: 1500
TCP Window: 66608 (NOT multiple of MSS)
    RWIN Scaling: 2 bits (2^2=4)
    Unscaled RWIN : 16652
    Recommended RWINs: 64240, 128480, 256960, 513920, 1027840
    BDP limit (200ms): 2664kbps (333KBytes/s)
    BDP limit (500ms): 1066kbps (133KBytes/s)
    MTU Discovery: ON
    TTL: 50
    Timestamps: ON
    SACKs: ON
    IP ToS: 00000000 (0)

My RWIN 2162500 settings won't save and I got always the above - can you help please?

    Thanks / Regards

If you're running Windows 7 just leave it. Do a speed test and post the results. TTL should be at least 64. Also turn off Timestamps and SACKS. Everything else seems fine.

    What a day....

@Luca Thanks for your interest an help! Sadly it doesn't work anyway.
    Info: Win7 64x, 100Mps, Delay: 20-169ms, Average: 92ms= RWIN 1150000
I modified all you postet here but some values didn't chance, they reset itself:
In TCP Optimizer: TcpDelackTicks= sets automatically to default n/a

NetworkAdapter: only 17 (instead 22) Values available, no entry:
    Green Ethernet
    Large Send Offload v2 (IPv6)
    Receive Side Scaling
    TCP Checksum Offload (IPv6)
    UDP Checksum Offload (IPv6)
-For the Buffers I tokk 512/128-
I executed the progs as an admin.

It's enough to drive a person mad. I tried it 5 timies..... Is it possible that the 64x is the problem? Are there any options?
    Thanks!

Promote cablenut and then tcp optimizer? Quit spreading the FUD. If you're running 7 then don't bother. Both programs will only screw up the connection only worse.
