    Question Accessory question

I'd like to buy a few small accessories for my T2i. I'd like to start small and experiment with things like filters, flower lens hoods and stuff like that before I start looking for more lenses etc. Who makes decent quality filters and what should I stay away from? The flower lens hood isn't that hard to pick out since it basically a static mechanical item. Also, who makes a good lens cleaning kit (and/or items)?

I'll also take any suggestions for "must have" items that don't cost much but that you just have to have.

    I think B & W make the best filters.

and I only buy from B&H online,

first one you should get is a CPL(circular polarizer) like this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc..._65016895.html

and a "cross screen" is fun to make stars out of lights like this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...ss_Screen.html

another fun accessory is a wireless remote like this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...e_Control.html (I had one for my T1i & loved it)

of course a tripod is a must too,IMO manfrotto is the best brand, most any in their line is great quality, some you have to buy a head separately,

like this is good, http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc..._Kit_with.html don't skimp on a tripod, pick the best one you can afford then get the one better than that,if you buy a good one,it will be the last one you will need, and it's a nightmare to see you camera fall off a tripod and hit the ground.

a good external flash is really good to have http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...dlite_TTL.html

and a spare battery is very useful too,(only buy Canon brand)

BTW,I'm not a big believer in UV "keep on all the time" filters.

I know these are not all "small" accessories,
but there is a few ideas.

here is what a cross screen filter will do

be ready for this hobby,it's an addiction ! LOL

Thanks for the tips Dan, the cross screen filter looks cheesy (personal preference) but you've got some great suggestions.

Hell, I'm still saving up for a good zoom lens.
