    Question Help with NHL 2001...

Hey guys, I got a question. NHL 2001 won't let me play seasons or playoffs, it tells me that "the hard disk is full". That's bs, I have 1.2 gigs available. I can't figure out how to start any game except quick match. Can anybody help me out here?

    Cheers,
    Ronald

What are your virtual memory settings at??

Maybe, NHL 2001 is using all your HD space as a swap file.

I currently have Win2k manage it, but I really doubt that NHL 2001 will use more than 1 gig of HDD for swapping. I'll try it anyway though.

Maybe I am missing a save directory or something. Can anyone who has the game PLEASE post a dir tree of their NHL dir? To do that, go into a dos box, go into the directory of your nhl, (cd games\nhl2001 or whatever your game is in), and then type

    TREE >dirtree.txt

Then you should have the dir structure printed in the dirtree.txt.

    Thanks,
    Ronald

You unfortunately have the problem many people have with windows 2000 or ME in that they cannot create seasons regardless of how much disk space they have (20 GB, etc) EA has been trying to fix this problem for a while, but dont hold your breath. A patch may come out eventually on EASports web site, but the only way i did create one was to use a season from 2001 before i installed win2000...i have a season with the Canucks, which works that way
