    Optimal TCP Optimizer settings please

Hi, I'm new here. I switched from Verizion Fios to Time Warner and my connection has been unstable since day 1. I have been experiencing latency and packet loss.

I've tried many things and it's better now, however I'd like to see if TCP Optimizer can further improve my connection.

Here is my TCP Analyzer Report:

If Time Warner is giving cable internet, MTU should be 1500.

Thanks. I've been trying numerous times to apply "Optimal" settings but after rebooting I open TCP optimizer again and the same settings as before are applied (no change).

    Any help? Thanks.

Connect your comp directly to the modem and check out its settings, esp MTU.

    Check also speed performance.

If things are better, problem is probably between comp and router. 3rd party router firmware, suitable for Vista?
