Almost like a mushroom cloud...

except created by nature...had some pretty violent looking thunderstorms form off to the east of us by about 30 miles or so. The first shot is of the anvil cloud from our place, the second shot is from about 5 miles further south. Caught the second one during the golden hour, only maybe 20 minutes of daylight left when I shot it.
