    an otter & some turtles

saw this on the American River today,
the lens I had with was not the best for these,
    (quality not so good)
but still interesting to me to see these creatures in the wild

Awww....cute otter. Even figuring in zoom on the 2nd shot, looks like you got fairly close.

my wife and I have been doing a couple mile hike along the american river every sunday for a while now,we pick a different section each time, and so far we have seen the otter & turtles, and also a swan & a pair of red tail hawks while mating ,it's one of my favorite places to go,and it's very close to us,there are also a lot of natural plants and trees and flowers that we like looking at.It's just good to be out in the beauty of a place like that,it seems to do good things to us.
