High Ping, Good speed?

Hi there,

i was guided here by some google searching, so apologies if im out of my depth. The read mes made little sense to me!

Basicly, ive been playing online games, and despite my system being good to play them,

Laptop, 2gz dual core,512mb graphics,4gb ram.

I get bad ping. After a quick ping test, it said 70% packet loss, 25ms, 9ms jitter.
A second one said 0 PL, 106ms, 77ms jitter.

Basicly, on the grade system i got a D and F :P

MY speed was measured at 18mbs, i normally get 15 on my 20mbs virgin.

So, any ideas what i can do to solve this and cut my game lag?

Jitter must be from 0ms to 5ms. u seem to have hardware problems (may be ISP's problem). check it from beggining to the end (cables, splitters, network cards(drivers also). Jitter can be measured via Spektrograph m and "eye pattern"

After that check your ping test, through this site http://www.whoisxy.com/ping.aspx
It has the best information of IP address, IP address to domain, domain name to IP,domain name, hosting, and ping test to know the particular connection is online or not!!!!!
