My 4g USB Modem doesn't respond to MTU changes.

Hello, I'm new to these forums and i apologize if i put this in the wrong sections. (spent about 2 minutes picking between this and the broadband tweaks forum)

I Use a 4g network USB modem by Clearwire. I've been trying to set the MTU a little below 1300, tweaking and whatnot... but the last few tests to speedguide's speed test shows that whenever i set my MTU to a value below 1300, it defaults to an MTU of 1400.

I tried checking in the registry and changing the MTU i saw there but it didn't work either.

Is there anyway to force my USB modem to use an MTU of my choice?

I believe the needed MTU setting for that 4G network would be around 1396 so 1400 isn't going to really make much difference that I've ran into.
