Hi all
I am trying to establish a remote connection via vpn to a client's site.
The problem we are having is that both our internal network and the client's
have the same ip address range.
I can connect via vpn to the client's router, but cannot then
ping/communicate with the client's PC.
The client's IT provider has recommended that I install a router between our
PC and our LAN so that the PC gets a different "internal" ip address.
The router would then be given the external address currently assigned to
the PC.
The questions:
Do I need any specific router for this?
Any recommendations on models?
It will be necessary to give the router a static ip address for the WAN,
side in order for our Firewall to permit traffic.
thanks
Phil
