    plzz help me wip dis streamyx (WAN Miniport PPPOE) problem..

    I'm from malaysia and my isp is TMnet Streamyx. I am using the 1mb package
    and not satisfied with the VERY slow speed. my dl rate usually below 20kbps. it is so frustating cz i nid 2 wait 4 a very long time to download sumthin. hope u guys can help me. And my IPadress is way 2 high from usual. Is dat wrong?

    WAN Miniport PPPOE?

    I think StreamyX has probably issued you a gateway device with both router and modem on one device.

    If installed with the router in routing mode, MTU should be 1492.

    yesterday my dl rate is around 60-70kbps. But now, it is only around 30kbps.

    try thease in the optimizer to see if the mtu can be raised xp has a stuck mtu miniport issue. Try thease save changes reboot take another analyzer.

    try thease steps i noticed that with xp and that mtu size somedays the optimizer does it some days don't
