CDROM Issue

I have a Creative CDRW 4224. For some reason every so often it *thinks* that every cd i insert into the cdrom is an audio cd when its really a game or app cd. Any reason to why this happens? And any way to fix it?Thanks:-)

That is wierd!
How about removing the CD-drive from device manager, and uninstalling all the software that you've put on for it.
Re-boot and it will re-install everything it needs.
Next time buy HP, they rule for storage, and have been at it longer.
