ok, i've been using rapidshare recently and i'm horribly dissapointed in the speeds. on my laptop with wifi it's at only 70kbps and the hardline is at around 200. but i have broadband and the test says i'm connected at

4260 kbps down (~4.26 Mbps, 520 KB/s) ↓
455 kbps up (~0.46 Mbps, 56 KB/s) ↑

3072 KB downloaded in 5.907 seconds
1024 KB uploaded in 18.421 seconds
Speed @ 107% of the average for socal.res.rr.com

so if it say 4620 kbps, why aren't i downloading at that speed.

If your using rapidshare for free they limit the speed you can get and if they're busy it could be limited even more.

i have a premium account, and it's not just rapidshare, it's everything that downloads.
