    Weird behaviour regarding windows installer

    Hi
I use windows XP SP2 (up to the very latest updates) and lately, i found that the programs which i launch (and which used the "Windows Installer" to be installed before) start normally but after a few seconds of showing me 2 or 3 dialog boxes with title "Windows Installer" and message "preparing for install" with a progress bar which runs 2 or 3 times in 2 or 3 consecutive dialog boxes and then my software launch normally and works fine but I never noticed this behavior before when launching these types of apps ? so what might be wrong with XP? I am supposed to have the programs launched immediately.
