Low Space in Sever 2003 - How to merge Dynamic disks

Hi friends. If someone knows or I get suggestion how can I get merge a partition on the server C and D. Cause I had installed Exchange server on it and every time it show me that I have less then 100 MB. I read a lot about it but the conclusion is that I can not merge Dinamic Disks and server must be installed on Dynamic disk, so what I can do. In that sever I have 500 GB but with my mistake C: has just 20 GB. And every time I delete and delete the application to get space. So now I have just Windows with administration tools, ISA Server and Exchange Server. I do not want to delete them also.

Please if you can help me.

What other partitions and/or drives are on the server?

Before going to drastic measures of trying to merge partitions....I'd look at what you can move on the current setup...to another partition or drive on the server.

pagefile.sys by default is on C:\....you can move that..on a server it's often greater than 1 gig on size...

You can move your infostore on the Exchange server to another partition/drive..depending on the size of your organization..this can also be substantial size..and free up that C space.

Yes thanks a lot. I saw that I can make free space with you instruction more than 3GB.
I have 6 Hard disk on the server,
One hard disk is 60 GB. wich is patitioned in C: = 20 GB E:40GB and a same disk which is mirrorring him.
Another Hard disk is 250 GB which is not partitioned F:
and a same disk wich make a mirror,

However i will want to merge C and E but I`m afraid to make something stupid, so I want to suggest me with you experience what could happend.

The mirroring done with software RAID?

If this is a production server..my advice is to veer away from thoughts of "merging".

Yes there is software out there..which allows you to merge partitions
    http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/pr.../diskdirector/

However..it's pricey. And to be honest...I always sweat a little bit when doing something that drastic on a production server.

With a 20 gig C...and those extra two hard drives....I'd looks towards some easier ways of re-allocating your data. Such as moving the pagefile and the infostore. It's easy, it's relatively fool proof, and it's quick. The fact that you have a second hard drive available..a separate spindle...is even better for performance.

You don't have to tell me about sweating

The mirror is not done with RAID.

I tried the Acronis DiskDirector for Server but it alowed me to merge only Static Disks, When I tried to megre the Dinamic Disks It just didn't recognise them.

However thanks for fast reply bro.
