Hey, new member here. I've been looking around and read a few threads to see if anyone had a similar problem to me, but haven't seen any so far.
I have a laptop and a desktop. The laptop has perfect connection, but the desktop can barely connect. All drivers are up to date, laptop using Atheros on WindowsXP, desktop using Realtek8185 on Vista Ultimate, both computers are using the default windows wireless application. No cordless phones, microwave is far away, laptop uses wireless mouse, desktop uses wireless keyboard+mouse combo. I tried using wired keyboard/mice with no effect.
Also, for some reason, the desktop sometimes loses the ability to see ANY connections at all, saying that there are no wireless connections available. I checked on the laptop, and it's still connected fine.
I have no idea what the problem could be, any ideas?
